All Tulips should be deadheaded ( seed pods removed) Tulips in pots can be laid on their sides out of sight to dry out. Replace the compost in October for a super display next May. Tulips planted in the ground -dying leaves can be disguised with an early May by sowing NIGELLA seed around the tulip base. In a few weeks the ferny foliage will be taller than the dying tulip leaves as its a hardy annual it’ll probably come back for a few years if you remember to allow it to self seed. Tulips in Grass- I use flowered bulbs from pots to replant in the wildflower meadow. The planting holes need to be about 8inches deep.
