WiINTER SHRUB PRUNING & HARDWOOD CUTTINGS WORKSHOP   10am-2.30pm 

Who is the workshop for? Anyone who has a few shrubs that are getting out of control & isn’t sure how to maintain them. Learn how to correctly reduce the size of an overgrown shrub without killing it.   If you want to increase the shrubs in your garden or just get a few cuttings of different shrubs from our garden, without the use of chemicals             

 We’ll be spending the morning standing outside so wrap up warm, bring tough gloves – you’re welcome to bring a folding chair  if you don’t want to stand too long.   We’ll be identifying what your shrubs are ( bring an image if you like include flowers, leaves & overall shape) & I’ll show you how to prune it on my shrubs in the gardens. (Also a good opportunity to view the autumn colour ) Bring your own Secateurs and or loppers you’ll be more comfortable using them

After lunch we’ll move into the polytunnel to produce some Hardwood cuttings  for you to take home & grow on.  

Cost £45.per person  20% members discount. Max 8 participants.

What is included? Coffee on arrival, all materials, Lunch of Hearty Vegetable Soup Sweet Treat & a Hot Drink. A Potful of Shrub Cuttings for you to take home.
